The Hollow Bistro & Brew

Had a couple specials that included scallops they were amazing. Very fresh very tender. The salads were very fresh and I love the dressings. This place is got such a great setup now with a great bar area a nice dining room and patio as well as a private room. Nothing else in Clarence comes close. Food is always great. I worked as a bartender and a server. Our server was one of the best I've ever encountered I think her name was Cheryl. She had knowledge and personality which is hard to find. This place is great but make no mistake you are only as good as your employees in the restaurant business. They've got good people there!

Brunch service was beautiful, delicious and flawless. The staff is wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the jazz brunch. Great food, good drink specials and the music was just the right volume. The waitress was also fantastic.

Great food and atmosphere!

Arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday, the bartender was also a server thus was completely overwhelmed and stressed out. The manager sat at the bar not helping out at all. The food was fresh and delicious but if you expect service, you will get none.

Had a great lunch here last week the service was very good, the food and atmosphere was great, but it wasn't cheap. Lunch for two with a couple drinks was $60.00.

Great food. Great service. I liked the combination of different flavors within their meal choices.

My Husband and I came in for the first time a few months ago, Jessica was the best server. Explained the menu, helped us chose what to get, my husband a steak special and myself the salmon on the menu with almonds, it was wonderful. We have been back to see her since and it is our new favorite spot! Keep up the good work hollow

Others' meals looked good but I can't recommend the salmon pad Thai. Nothing flavorful going on with the noodles although the salmon was well prepared. Nice wine and beer selection and the flourless chocolate cake was delicious.

Honestly I have to say when this place opened the food sucked but now it's getting better I don't mind going there

Terrific veggie burger! Lots of complex flavors and good sauce to top it off. Accompanying lettuce and baby spinach were nice and fresh, and presentation was pleasing. Would love too see veggie options for the side that comes with - the home made chips are delicious but unhealthy. Apple crisp with vanilla ice cream were delicious and also nicely plated. The cappuccino was awful, watery and not very good coffee. Service was pleasant though my server neglected to tell me the specials on offer. Ambiance is country and homey. Bathroom spotless. Great stop if you are in Clarence.

We have been going here for many years. Last two we have seen a decline in food guiltily Ordered surf a surf and turf on New Years Eve, no utensils for surf. ?????.

Food is just okay but restaurant struggles to find an identity. Is it a bistro? Is it a brew pub? Is it an Asian restaurant? In the end, it's none of these but a crazy fusion of disparate themes. For example, ordered the Linguine Jambalaya. The use of linguine should be the first clue that this menu item left the tracks especially since rice is available in many other dishes but I decided to give it a chance. Instead of anything close to a traditional Jambalaya, the dish was served in what seems like a Thai-inspired smoked paprika cream sauce. Why? So, if you think you're getting anything close to a jambalaya, don't order it. We've given Hollow Bistro & Brew several chances over the years and this was probably the last one.

Food very good as usual, service excellent today. McKenna was very sweet with her care for us today.

My husband, daughter and I had dinner last evening and I must say, the food and the server were amazing!!!!!☺. My strawberry and cucumber soup made my taste buds very happy, more like a dessert than a soup. Anyway, our server was delightful and the food outstanding. Now we have a new and favorite restaurant in Clarence. Can't wait to go back....yummy.🎆🎇

Physically nice looking "Bistro". Was seated promptly but did not have a waitress acknowledge us for @10 minutes. Was just getting up to leave bistro when that occurred. We ordered medium well burgers and received overcooked ones in and out instead . No Pink.Regular and Sweet fries were nice, but associated condiments (ketchup, etc) were doled out in cute, but very a small dish, prompting us to repeatedly ask for more with long service delays each time one was brought out. Very noisy main street patio with local kids racing trucks and cars down the street, but some of this is to be expected with a patio experience. Other staff helping to do cleanup here was much more friendly and attentive in passing, then our own waitress was. Ended up leaving this,bad tasting, half eaten meal due to its taste with great disappointment as we were hungry. Do not recommend.

What a fabulous dinner. So worth the price. Everything was full of flavor and home made. Service was spectacular. Will go back.

My husband, I, and another couple came here last night for dinner and drinks. This place a LOT nicer than we anticipated. We came here after the Great Pumpkin Farm. Everything was so nice! The place itself is so clean and decorated so nicely. The service was great and the food was delicious. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We will be back!

Amazing food, music, atmosphere, and the service was awesome! Great place for a date! We looked at antiques on saturday and then came for lunch. The salads were fresh and the sweet potatoe fries were to die for.

We had dinner here last week and were not disappointed. We started with the spring roll appetizer, so yummy. Then the french onion soup, which was one of the best we've ever had. My husband got the Hollow Burger and homemade chips, He was very happy. And I got the salmon belly - WOW! Great service and good prices.

Whether dining with one friend or fifty, the food and service at the Hollow Bistro are unbeatable. I'd recommend it to young, old, and any age group in between. Can you tell I enjoyed my visit???

Was in for dinner last Saturday with another couple. After leaving we all said "Why are we not coming here much more often?" The Food, Service, ambiance and overall hospitality was an absolute "10". We all agreed that this place is awesome and they we will frequent much more often on a more regular basis. If you haven't been here in awhile or are contemplating a first time visit please go as you will not be disappointed. Great Job Bistro, you will see us much more often as we are looking forward to the next visit!!

Great atmosphere and some interesting menu items. The Mushroom Ravioli was very good.

Had a lovely lunch Thursday afternoon. The special was a spinach, shrimp wrap with curry, cukumber tomatoes &homemade chips, very very good. Nice ambiance & efficient friendly service. Will definitely be back!

The food presentation and taste is unprecedented

Very Friendly Saturday bartender, my husband and I come in often for lunch. We sit at the bar for Jazz Brunch, can still hear music and receive great service...... young girl makes best cosmo in town!! Always clean looking and a great touch to the town of Clarence.

Service and food are consistently good. Some of their items are pricey but they also maintain a "Brew Menu" with pub fare which tends to be more affordable.

BYOB Night without a cork fee, slow night due to winter snowstorm, so quiet bar area seating. Incredible sesame chicken bao buns, good calamari, good size side caesar salad, incredible wild mushroom and ricotta cheese ravioli, and a rich, tasty hot chocolate to finish and a cappuccino for my dad.

$14 dollar salad... freaking amazing. Really found a gem here today. I added the steak to the asparagus strawberry salad for an additional $6. Well worth it.

Awesome food. The charcuterie plate was very nice. My coriander pork tenderloin was amazing. My GF had the sesame chicken, and added some sesame crusted ahi tuna to it. That was amazing as well. Our server/bartender Denise was very nice and accommodating. Overall great experience! I will be back there very soon

This was an excellent little restaurant. Many dishes had an Asian influence. Everything was exemplary.
